The video below is possibly one of the most amazing ever captured. It shows the sheer unstoppable force that is nature at its most destructive. What you are about to see is overwhelming; literally for the verb whelm means to: engulf, submerge, or bury (someone or something) i.e. a swimmer whelmed in a raging storm. When we watch the video, we have no way of knowing how many people were killed. The force of the water is so powerful that it’s almost beyond comprehension. Therefore we must accept that when we watch this video, that we are watching people being killed, live on screen. Real people, who are now dead.
When I consider it, I think it is probably a good way to exit this world; taken by surprise, at high speed, in an instant death – by a colossal and insurmountable force. Time up. Game over. It certainly beats dying from stab wounds after some little gouger mugged you for the contents of your wallet.
