This won an Oscar

In 1946, for Best Animated Short Film. When I was about ten years old, I was given a video of Tom and Jerry, which I used watch incessantly. This one, The Cat Concerto, was one of my favorites; I even remember the name. I was only thinking about it the other day, trying to remember what piece of music is used for it, so it was duly Googled. It turns out that it’s Liszt’s Hungarian Rhapsody No. 2 and, believe it or not, the cartoon won an Oscar in 1946. Turns out I may have been on to something. Enjoy!
